shakti, if you have no proof, then why are you beholden to such conspiratorial beliefs?

cerridwen, what you suggest has merit, but it seems to be a different area of concern than what shakti's talking about. shakti's talkin' about "hard" technology that's allegedly being used to affect people's prana and minds. i haven't seen any credible sources that suggest such things are happenin'. besides, what will the government or business interests gain from harmin' citizens and messin' with their prana, or destabilizin' their minds? economy needs people to be sharp so they can be confident, competent business-builders -and *spenders*.

i think what people should be more concerned about is their own ignorance, superstition, and bad habits such as watchin' too much tv (they don't call it the "boob-tube" for nothin') and eatin' crap that upsets their brain chemistry. too much caffeine makes people jumpier, easier to offend, less adaptable, more anxious, stressed & fearful. that's just one of many examples. people also get physically and emotionally addicted to drama. if people ate better, exercised regularly, meditated, and spent less time watching tv, there'd be a lot of improvement in society.
