is there anyone out there who knows anything about the magic wheel etc., in buddhism...I had a very weird experience -- seriously where I completely transformed energy t mcro level--I know, sounds egotistical but it would appear that it may be true--the issue is I have come to understnd that I may have got something backwards--the wheel the tape something. Since then I have seriously gone back to church and now listen to gospel music. Smile. I know it sounds trippy and that is why I would be only interested in hearing from persons who really know what I am talking about--it was my spirit--I didn't make it happen--it just happened but while it was happening I think I--I know I started manipulating the experience becuse it was scaring me and/or I wanted another outcome. Anyway--anyone comprende???I have decided--becauise I do believe in God- to hand it over--which my sound like a cop out but I clearly did not know what I was doing--I was cutting chords with someone and it was very dramatic and then all of a sudden in the deepest recesses of my mind a wheel appeared with colors and then tpes and it was spinning and I believe it was my destiny to do wht i ddi but I don't think I did it right--I have even had dreams where things are bAckwards and I had a master yogi teacher from new york look at meand say it was backwards----I know it sounds wonky so only those who understand need apply----The bottom line is I HAVE stopped--I have now joined a church and just accept that whatever happened----happened and that I have to accept it and move forward---as is and I ask god/higher self to straighten out anything that is not in alignment or out of balance and so forth--any ideas....Thanks. I learned in my East Asian Art class that the wheel that is featured on Buddhist artworks symbolizes Buddha's Law. It is the law of the universe according to Buddhism.

Thanks. I have no idea frankly. I know it came from the deepest recesses of my mind--its the upside down part I don't like. But what am I to do--I don't think I will ever be able to trust enough to let go like that again--it was too freaky. So, I just have to trust that it will all be okay in the end. what else can i do? No one seems to understand what I am talking about. Anyway, thanks....beth

        Hi Beth

As I read your post, I was getting that the key words were upside down or backwards... I don’t know what or how you were cutting the chords or attachments or what else was going on, but I feel that while you were having a spiritual experience, you turned it around as a religious experience, so much so that you have now SERIOUSLY gone back to church (RELIGION) as a result of that experience.

My feeling is that when you got scared, you got confused and attributed the outcome to whatever religious beliefs you have, and that your higher self was saying that you have it backwards in that religion is a state of mind, while spirituality is a state of being... meaning that religion had nothing to do with your spiritual experience.

Manipulating energy to create or manifest your reality is what we (as spiritual beings having a physical experience) are capable of doing and is natural. I feel that you tapped into that spiritual essence while in a conscious state, and that both frightened and excited you. And then you linked religion with your spiritual experience and so you are now drawn to religion for answers, while being somewhat open to ANSWERS, instead of seeking the answers yourself through other spiritual experiences.

also this might help: Interpretation of the Wheel of Fortune Reversed (backwards)

Wheel of Fortune (R) - Always trust and believe in who you are - even when everything appears to be wrong, no matter how hard you try. Have courage now - be strong and put your thoughts on higher things. When you can't see the way to go - trust in God to turn your situation around.

Re-evaluate your abilities. Analyze everything and ask yourself - "Will I benefit by this experience?" Keep planting seeds - you never know which ones will blossom and they all may blossom in time. Your job is to simply keep planting seeds and trusting that there will be results. The clearer and stronger your desire, the more action you will receive as you begin to see the whole picture - retaining the parts you want and eliminating what you don't want. Your greatest wealth is knowing that you are "complete" within yourself. Your major goal is to discover as much as you can about your "Self" - then work on improving the "quality" of your own life.

The more you know about yourself, the better you can deal with any life situation - for the "psyche" is the same in everyone. Involve yourself in an active way and things will happen. Anger is a necessary aspect of your "being" - you are required to meet it head on, look it over and come to terms with it. The only way you can make changes in yourself is to be so angry with yourself that you can finally say "This has got to stop!" The anger will continue until you finally come to grips with it and do what is necessary to balance it. Never struggle against the events that occur in your life - because life will always win out against the personality who is trying to oppose it. If you are a person who always reacts "passively" to whatever life does to you - then this signifies a more important change than just simply a new set of circumstances - it will open the door to a new awareness of the responsibility you have for your own life.

You may be ill prepared for the chance you are considering or you may be invoking divine providence to intervene inappropriately. Expecting something for nothing as in gambling. Possibly an improper "I deserve this" attitude. The problems that come from depending solely on "luck or fate". A "mind-over-matter" school of thought.

Questions to Answer: What life-changes are you experiencing? How are you adapting to these changes? What effects are you feeling from circumstances you put in motion previously? Is there something you need to resolve? How are your horizons expanding? Do you find it hard to accept periods of boredom or routine? How do you measure success?
